I called my classic auto insurance company today to add my c50 to my policy and they told me they do not insure dump trucks at all.
When I called in february of this year, someone there told me they would insure a c50 as an antique auto with no problem.
Now I do not know what to do. I have a restored truck that I wish to drive to shows and around town on the weekends and I will have to pay $1500 a year in commercial insurance to do it! My antique insurance company quoted me $64 a year for a c50! I need some help. Who will insure this vehicle as an antique or classic for a more reasonable rate than $1500 a year? My state is connecticut.
Heck - you called your insurance company 2x and got 2 different answers...I'd keep calling back until someone answers the phone that will insure you!
