on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 122 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 122 | I just picked up my wheels from the powder coaters this afternoon. I had them blasted and coated to a color very similar to Bombay Ivory. When I picked them up they all had areas where it looked similar to orangepeel. When I voiced my concern to the owner he told me that it wasn't his fault that it was the wheels. He said it was something coming out of the steel that was causing the problem. To me it looks like it wasn't applied properly, looked like it was uneven. Has anyone ever heard of this or is this just an excuse for poor workmanship. I did have a set of 17 1/2" wheels coated white last year and they came out great. Owner said he would re-blast and recoat the worst one of the four to see if it came out any better. I guess I'll see how that turns out. Thanks Brian M | | |
