Purchased a new grill since the original was missing for my 47 Chevy Pickup. In the process of trying to bolt it up, but having some questions about the way it connects to the bottom splash pan.
Does the chrome strip go over the edge of the apron so that the bolt goes through the chrome strip, then through the apron to a nut? Or does the chrome strip go on top of the splash apron, so a bolt going in through the bottom goes through the splash apron, then through the chrome strip to a nut? Neither way seems to be fitting very well and I'm thinking the chrome strip goes OVER the apron, but figured I would ask.
