All of my sheet metal is original, 1950, 3604, and I have the same problem with the beltline misalignment on the passenger side. The front is low by about a 1/4” and there is no way that it can go up any more and still look right, it would close the gap at the top if it went up that much. The driver side is lined up perfectly.
