Hey, if you have voltage at the coil when you turn the key on(which you did say in another post right?) then your switch SHOULD be good. How about running a wire from the starter switch to the + side of the coil, and then see if the points spark. If not, then your problem lies somewhere in the wiring/grounding of the coil and distributor, not you switch.


P.S. I have had to run the wire from the starter switch to the coil, so it's not dangerous and won't hurt anything.
