| | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,644 | I chose to have my engine rebuilt by a local mechanic who specializes in classic Chevrolets... how lucky can a guy get? He sent all the parts out to the machine shop and reassembled it himself. When it comes time to fire it up for the first time, he'll be the one to do it. That way, if there's a problem he owns it.
I agree with Dave and made all those modifications part of the rebuild. | | |
