Well, now it's narrowed down to a '42 or a '47. Two different opinions.
Not really, it's narrowed down to 3 years 1942 1944 1945 and depending on if it has the original parts, as spanky says, it's a 1942. But all that aside, I don't think it matters, he does not have a title and want's to go to DMV prepared to defend a year so that it can be registered. The body itself can pass for a 1941 - 47 depending on what headlight/parking lights or doors he puts on it. Here's the
VIN BUSTER Type in the numbers that came off of the
TAG and see the results. Unless this is not the original tag, I would say that it is a 1942/45 truck.
