I asked a week or so ago for ideas on how to flip a cab over to be able to work on the underside easier. Several folks contributed some good ideas and pictures too.

Here is a shot or two of what I came up with. I bolted a couple of short 2x4's to the right and left sides of the firewall using some existing holes and lag screws from the inside. I did the same with another 2x4 across the top edge of the firewall. Then I screwed a couple of longer 2x4's to these to act like skids/stabilizers. I had my wife help me tip it off the cab dolly I had made onto the ends of the skids and then on over all th way onto the firewall. It worked great even with my wife helping. Now I can de-rust the bottom of the thing without laying on my back and getting crap in my eyes.
