I have a GMC 270 that powers the truck I drove to work this morning.

I also have a '52 GMC that is missing lots of engine parts. I presume its a 228, but I don't know that.

Brian K: I've been told those GMC V-8 valve covers can to used on later motors, including the Pontiac 400 and 455. Not that I'd suggest hot rodding your truck, but I have a 454 I hope to put in mine someday.
