I have a 53 5700 COE. It wasn't completely assembled when I got it and I have a few questions for you bunch of wizards. I found the top of the radiator has been spaced forward 2 inches and the bottom is still in the original location. Fan has a spacer on it. It has a 58 235 in it. My understanding is it came with a 235, so I don't know why the rad is spaced at the top unless there are different water pumps for these engines. Because of the spacing, the inner fenders won't line up without alot of forcing them into position. I don't know if the inner fender lip goes inside the front fender lip sandwiched beteween the grill and outer fender,or outside the lip. Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
