I have a 52 coupe (our engine mounts are the same 52-54) with a 54 engine. I have a 59 261 (same mounts as your 60 block) that will eventually makes its way in there.
Stovebolt Engine Co makes a set of mounts and instructions for putting it in your 54, requires a little grinding and drilling.
However, if you read the tech article about their "special" engine mounts, I think you'll see the way to making your engine mounts work by moving them.
