| | | | Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 180 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 180 | the kit from ce that i used,used some of the original bolt holes as a locator.kit went in very simple and yes,did center the rear wheels nicley.but i understand about checking measurements. the motor mounts had to be pulled forword a little for some extra firewall clearence for the distributor...........dave mine used the original bolt holes also and mine was TCI, I only had to drill one hole on each side. then I welded them for extra security. this is what I had to do for engine clearance, the LS based engines are even tighter than the older small blocks. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/ahsum/firewall4.jpg | | |
