Has anyone put a Buick 430 V8 in a 1953 Chevrolet truck? I would really need the disk brake swap and dual master cylinder that someone else has done on their 1 ton using more modern chevy rotors etc. any advice on motor mounts , transmission etc would be appreciated. Also an option with the front disk brake swap is switching to 16" wheels maybe I can still put old chevy hub caps on and the truck will still look period correct. I am partial to manual transmisions is one feasible with this big block swap or should I go with an automatic?
