After hanging the fenders and realizing that the S-10 frame will need to get truncated just beyond the steering box, the radiator would be outside the grill. Since this is not an option, my plan is to jettison the steering box in favor of a steering rack. Unfortunately the narrow chassis dictates a fairly narrow rack.
I can go aftermarket with an Appleton, Sweet, or Coleman, however this is frankentruck so I am now searching for a steering rack. I may even consider a Frod M2, however that goes against my grain.
Any suggestions?
