And.............dont forget to check the needle and seat in the carb. I had the same prob in my old 54 1 ton flatbed that would crap out whenever it felt like it. A teeny lil piece of crud would get stuck in the float/needle/seat assembly and drive me NuTs!!..!!..!.!
