Interesting on the throttle and pedal assembly. My 1949 GMC has a 261 in it with two Holley Webers and the Offy linkage set-up. When you depress the pedal, it pushes the slightly bent accelerator rod which then pushes the top hole on the block mounted bellcrank. The bellcrank rotates counterclockwise and pushes the throttle rod up and rotates the Offy linkage to open the carbs. How would the Lokar work since the picture shows that the pedal, when depressed, pulls the throttle cable downward? I'd like to get rid of the mechanical accel rod if I can for a smoother and better foot response.
