waldo, i was getting some slight pinging on acceleration, so i backed off the timeing just a tad. seems good now, no pinging. it is running so good now.
the cam is a .450 intake, .460 exhaust lift. very mild.
tires are inflated properly.
i jacked the rear of my truck up with both rear wheels off the ground, spun the tires, and got 1 revoluton of the tire to 1.25 turns of the drive shaft. not sure what that ratio is, but that was witht he trans in neutral.
seems to be a little leaner with the carb mods i did, and witht he timing retarded the little i did, seems to have lost a little performance.
since it is not a race truck, LOL, im not too concerned about that. more interested in gaining some MPG's.
will let you all know when i go to fill it up again. hope to put 30 + miles on it tomorrow, so i might fill it up at the end of the day tomorrow.
