| | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 9 | I purchased a 1939/40 1/2 ton on Ebay. The body is a 1940 and the chassis is a 1939. The title is clear through the state of Missouri with a issue date of 1951. The PO never titled it in his name but did a lot of modifications to the vehicle. I only have a title number not a VIN (no VIN plate). The title number is stamped on the chassis. Do you think the state of Missouri can trace back the title number to get the original VIN?
