to me safety is the first concern. what does the truck need to be mechanically sound. you mentioned brake lines. if the truck runs, it might move. it would be really nice to be able to stop it thumbs_up people have been driving cars for years with holes in them, some small some quite large. now depending on the hole that might be a safety concern as well. looks and finish are fine but if it doesn't run right, and safely, who is goig to see it anyway.
