I ordered rear shocks for my 1960 stepside from Jimmy Carter. They are way too stiff. The front suspension is extremely smooth, but the rear is like no springs at all. If I step on the rear bumper there is damped spring action as expected. I suppose if I loaded five hundred lbs or so in the bed it would ride pretty good.
