Thank you Mr. Mongo for the info. I've been thinking about extending my '51 so that Wife and both dogs can ride with me.
If you are looking for some inspiration take a look at the June 2003 issue of "Custom Classic Trucks" - page 44. Contains an article about a modified '53 - I'd swear that it looks just like the cab mods on your extended version.
