I had 3 for my 3/4 ton GMC which were frozen solid. Over the period of several years I tried WD-40, PB Blaster and Kroil with no luck. As a last ditch effort, I tried a gentle touch with a torch, appling heat to the outside cable housing. This actually worked quite well. After a couple of minutes of playing with it, the housing was moving some, (I locked the cable end in a vice and put some vice grips on the housing to assist in pulling it free). Once they were free, I applied liberal amounts of Kroil and continued working the cable until it moved smoothly. All three cables came free with ease. Give it a try and see if it works, though I would wash that kerosene off first! :p
