OK, my turn- - - - - -
Tubeless tires with a very noticeable taper where the bead meets the rim are graduated in sizes such as 14.5", 16.5", 19.5", 22.5, 24.5, etc. The shape of the proper wheel is an exact match to the shape of the tire. THEY DO NOT FIT ON ANY OTHER SIZE WHEEL, AND ATTEMPTING TO DO SO WILL GET YOU KILLED!
Here is a height comparison:
14.5" wheels fit mobile home axles. I don't know of a corresponding height tube-type tire
16.5" wheel/tire assemblies are the same overall height as a 15" tube type tire/wheel assembly.
19.5" wheel/tire assemblies are the same height as a corresponding 18" tube type wheel/tire assembly.
22.5 tubeless is the same height as 20" tube-type.
24.5" tubeless is the same height as 22" tube type.
If you attempt to mix and match tubeless tires and tube type rims- - - -pick out your pallbearers, flowers, and the music to be played at your funeral. Then triple your life insurance coverage so your survivors can profit from your stupidity!
