I had a look at my photos and old ads of step vans from 1940 GMC and Chevy Dubl-Duti and PM's up to 1970 stepvans. And the one that looks the most like it is a 1969 ford p350 Grumman.
The chevy and the GMC had six piece front window on most of the Grumman bodys of this year.Is the rad filer on the inside on the dash? If yes it is before 1954/55.
It looks like a little door on the front to get to the rad filer and a home made grille. Or a grille from a Welles Aluminum Body
and the rear bumper is not stock for Grumman.
