If you use brake fluid u will have a blank plate except for the no. stamped on it. "Been there dun that" I bought me a replacement plate and stamped my existing no. on ot and installed it when I finished painting my int. I took my original plate to the auto paint store and we tried all types of removers but they just kept removing all of the paint including what I wanted to keep. Not shure what to tell you but I hope this helps. Good luck | | |
