I didn't read all the above posts, so maybe someone has shared this info with you already. I don't know 'nuttin' about bubble flares, but I found a site that has inverted flare to bubble adapters.

Look down the page a bit. They list Weatherhead part numbers. I don't know if this is what might work for you, but it looks like it could be the answer.
