Hey everyone, still looking for some info here.

I just got the speedo cable I ordered for my 53 GMC. I'm set to attach it but I still need the 12 toothed gear and housing that I believe goes on the tranny end. It is for a 4 speed top loader. Any websites or advice appreciated.

Also, do I necessarily need to have the speedometer rebuilt before I hook things back up?
