Why would anyone consider buying one of these store props. They come without vin numbers or titles, they have been stripped so they could be put up for display and they may have lots of hidden horrors to be found when you start to work on them. I read somewhere that they were found at junkyards, stripped of the mechanical gear and had a quicky paint job before they were sent out to the stores. I don't believe that they were ever intended to be driven again. There are a lot of nice projects out there for less money, true they don't have the poor fitting reproduction grilles and Earl Scheib blue paint jobs, but hey that's why they call this a hobby!
