The felt and weatherstripping are pretty much shot on my '49 so I am going about replacing it all. Last time I had to pull the vent window assembly out though it took me four hours to somewhat get it back in, all while destroying the old felt and the window not rolling up properly. What is the secret to angling the assembly enough to get it in between the door panels, clearing the upper part of the door and feeding the window into the channel.
