The holes in the front fenders on my 59 are a bit larger than the bosses on the back of the trim spears so I assume some sort of special fastener is used to thread onto the 3/16 inch mounting studs? Is that correct? Is a larger fender type washer used and then a nut of some sort? The mounting studs protrude from the raised bosses which would fit through the fender holes so it has to be some type of speed nut or larger? These were off the truck so I have no reference. Appreciate any info.
