I joined the ranks just recently and am just saying Hi to all the fellow bolters! I'm rebuilding a '50' A.D. 3100 brought in from Ca. about 4 years ago.It' been a slooow process! Wish I'd joined years ago!As soon as I've got pics worthy of showing I'll post them!
Our Junkyards/parts suppliers are not exactly overflowing with parts ,Thankfully I have a buddy in Va.who sends me parts as and when I need them. The truck was virtually complete when I got it so it's been mostly small stuff! We get hammered with import taxes!
I visited the 'States' last Oct. You should have seen me trying to get a new wiring loom through customs!Not to mention $600 worth of other bits! wave
