I'm having problems starting my 1950 216. It was running fine, i drove it around and everthing but then it just died. Now i've been looking it over and i do have spark, in fact, when i pour gas into the carb it will run for a few seconds until that gas is burned up. So im assuming that its a fuel delivery problem. I opened the fuel line where it comes out of the pump and turned it over to find there was fuel coming out. however, when I cranked it with the fuel line open at the carb...nothing. Is it possible to have fuel coming out of the pump but not have the pressure to reach the carb? Also, could this just suddenly happen as it did? Maybe this seems like a pretty basic question but it's got me stumped. Thanks for your help in advance.
