What is a clam shell? I'm guessing that is a Suburban with clam shell doors?
If so, this swap is so common there is even a kit to do it. Check
AD Engineering. Someone else also makes a pickup swap kit, but I've not seen it, don't recall the name, and don't know if they make a Suburban/panel kit too.
Lots of people have made the swap without a kit too.
