| | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 | The interior door handles on my '40 have a smooth brass / copper insert where they slide over the splined shaft of the operator. Is this stock or has some previous owner drilled out the splines in the old handles and inserted these sleeves ? There is also a small setscew in the bottom of the handle.
