Then I thought about a 350 or maybee 383 instead. I just saw a local add for a 1988 chevy truck 454 complete from carb to pan with all the acesaries and brackets including a/c & power streering for $750 with 60,000 miles. Has anyone put a big block in a 59 chevy truck? Are there clearance problems for a big block vs a small block for this application. Will I be able to have power steering? what exaust manifolds or headers will work? please let me know what you think about a 454 for my panel truck your advise is appreciated. | | |
