Going to IFS CAN change your ride's front end, but the final look is up to you. You're right that most IFS set-ups, whether bolt-on or grafted clips, will bring the front end down. The stock '47-54's use the straight axle and ride high with a feel for every bump. The conversion to IFS brings a lower profile, but you can offset that change with block, spindle and spring combinations that approach a stock profile.
