The 84-87 Toyota 4X4 is an excellent conversion. I have done them on 2 TF trucks and a 56 Ford F100. I don't know what the issues would be on a AD truck. Nothing is a direct bolt in! You will need to fabricate the mounting brackets (or buy the kit), modify or replace the column and the shifter assy. The pulleys for 6 cyl engines are hard to find and expensive & PS pump brackets would have to be fabricated.
