It stands for "new, old stock" and means a factory OEM part that has been sitting on the shelf since new. Don't expect it to be like new. It's probably been banged around and moved from shelf to shelf a dozen times.
Another related to it is NORS. That is "new, old replacement stock". This also is an unused part but not the factory brand.
