thank you Brad. I had cut the bottom end off my steering column to do the power steering conversion with the saginaw box, and for some reason I had a spring on the wheel end of the column.....and it has been long ago enough I could not figure out why the spring was there. My contact plate was the original and I managed to put a little much twist on it and the fiber/plastic part of it broke, so I am waiting on parts. I had tried ten ways to incorporate the spring, and no way was it going to fit. Sometimes if I sleep on things my memory works again the next morning. Thanks again.
