Back on the 327 question; I'm thinking that the 250 and 300 HP engines were dropped around 1967, re done as the 275 Hp 327 with a Q-jet with slightly less compression.All these engines used the same cam,the so called 283 Power Pac hydraulic cam, pretty mild item.The 250 hp 327 used the 283 heads with Carter WCFB.
