My 216 is somewhat different from the pictured posted and I may have to get out my camera and figure out how to post a photo here. There is what the manual calls an oil distributor which is right between the two freeze plug holes in the block. This has an outlet (threaded hole) in it. Then there are the inlet and outlet holes pictured above. The guy that rebuilt my engine ran a small copper tube in a loop shape from the outlet in the oil distributor to another threaded hole in the block. I don't remember this when I took the engine out. Anyone with a 216 with an oil filter? Would appreciate some help
