I have a '51 GMC 640 that has a brass plaque on the driver inside kick panel that denotes it's original buyer was the Dept. of the Navy. There should be some official Vin tag somewhere in the truck. Look for holes for the missing tag. Some one else here at the bolt can probably point you in the right direction.
