Just curious, is there a website to enter a VIN from a GM vehicle to see how it was equipped when leaving the factory?
I am specifically interested in finding out rear axle info on several mid-eighties vehicles without having to actually jack them up and scrape for numbers, or pull off rear covers.
I realize that parts could have been changed, but it would sure help screen out the ones that I know would not work.
