I assume you took leafs out to soften the ride and not to lower the truck, because the way the axle is mounted you would actually sit lower with more leaf springs.
I would maybe leave more or all the rear springs and use less extreme lowering blocks to achieve the same thing. i would think it would be safer. Especially with a hot motor.
