Hello all, I am looking for some info and advice on some new king pins and possible tie rod ends for my truck. It drives great, and is ready for another summer of driving and just hanging out. I have noticed that over the 3 years that I have owned it the steering sometimes will drift and move depending on the condition of the road that I am driving on. I have read other posts here about the same condition and most here have leaned towards king pins as being the problem. I placed my truck on my lift and raised it up. Then, I grabbed my wheel/tire at the 12 and 6 o'clock position and pulled. Sure enough there is quite a bit of play in the spindle/axle beam. There is enough play to change the camber of the wheel and I'm thinking that this would cause my truck to drift. Ok, so does anyone here have any advice about where to get some great king pins? I use Carter for my parts, but I want to make sure that if I go ahead with this project, I put some nice king pins on. Also, should I go ahead and drop some new tie rod ends and maybe a new drag link on while I'm at it? Give me your thoughts!!
Thanks in advance,
