Anything flat and not too flexible will work actually. I've seen paint sticks used too.
I think I'll head over to Home Depot and buy some nice hardwood boards... save some money.
Have you seen the price of hardwoods lately?!?!? i doubt you'll be saving any money!!
My grandpa used to tell me not to take any wooden nickels... at the price of lumber these days, i think I'll take all the wooden nickels I can get!
