The longer the bolts and thicker the spacers, the higher the shear force on the bolts.
Maybe better and safer to get wheels with less backspacing.
In the 90s there was a trend in S-CA to go with small wheels and spacers, sticking way out.
People stacked spacers on top of each other to get a wider stance than the next guy.
Too many failures until the selling of spacers at the parts stores was outlawed.
