I have a 3 speed Chevy transmission that I received on a trade, which was removed from a '55 Chevy 1/2 ton. I think it is a later model since the date code on the side cover is "L37", which I translate to be December 3 of 1957. The part number on the side cover is 3845122. I would greatly appreciate any help with this identification.
