Youre exactly right,Trev. Thats the ONLY way it'll work. Ive seen many good locks ruined by someone twisting,forcing,prying,and ultimately ruining the lock.
And,,,Ive salvaged many locks with my ring of about 100 G.M. keys. I'll remove whole good lock/switch assemblies at the wrecking yard, and bring them home,go thru and find a key for it and put it in my "Lock Box" for future use,,or to help out someone that needs a lock/ign. switch.
