If you want a simple approach, pick up the external pump/sump assembly from underneath a VW Fox - 90-93 are good years. Then you can use the tank you have. These units were fed from the low pressure in-tank units that fed carbs. VW didnt want to invest in a new stamping, so they cam up with this external pump/sump The unit is complete, pump, filter, plumbing, plastic reservoir to prevent stalling. The pump is a bosch 4 Bar unit. Good for about 400-450Hp (then it runs out of flow and pressure starts to drop)
If I can find the one in my garage that I pulled off a parts car Fox I had and kept for the Opel project(its in a box, inside another box in a pile of boxes) I will post a pic.
